1. It is important that a man helps you around the house and has a job.
2. It is important that a man makes you laugh.
3. It is important to find a man you can count on! And doesn't lie to you.
4. It is important that a man loves you and spoils you.
5. It is important that these four men don't know each other.
Welcome to Little Margaret. It started off on a quest in search of a Dachshund called Margaret...I've yet to meet her, life doesn't always go as planned. So in the meantime, I blah blah blog on things some of reason, interest or not, serious or daft. It's my space to type.

Beauty Tips
Here is a wonderful poem Audrey Hepburn wrote when asked to share her 'beauty tips.'
For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone..
People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone.
Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms.
As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.

Puff...
I have just signed up to run a 10k.
I have 6 weeks to train and am sticking to my Granny's saying....there's no such word as can't...

The phone call...
Nearly 6 months ago I called up a local Daschund breeder about her advert in the paper - mini daschund pups for sale....Obviously I didn't purchase one, but I asked if she would call me when the next litter arrives.
She did just that.
The lovely lady called the other day to say she had mini D's and was I interested.
ARGH! Not yet, we're still living in our flat and have agreed we will find Margaret once we're in a house with a garden.
I can't believe 7 months have flown by....time flies when you're having fun or is it just life? 24 hours in a day, 7 days a week...day to day life passes us by when you least expect it. So once again I back my post below, if it's not right for you just now don't do it.
One day, maybe sooner than I think it'll be Margaret time. Yippee!
Happy Sunday x

You is all about you.
Is it right or wrong to take a step out, believe in yourself and do something for you? Well, I think it's right. I decided that my current day job is not for me.
So I quit.
After 3 months of trying to get into it, trying to focus - it will get better - I gave in and said, this isn’t for me. Rather than becoming doomy and gloomy, I took a positive step and a chance to better myself than to crumble into moans and groans of disliking my job and facing another day of unwanted boredom.
As a result, I have over night developed higher self confidence and a very positive outlook, just by taking a step and changing the bad to good. I do have a month or so left but it's taken the pressure off and turned the heat down at a decent level.
Life's too short to be stuck, stuck doing what you don't want. Instead of worrying what if, I have taken on the attitude of freedom and ditched negativity that was surrounding me to feel alive and will grow into a new job when it happens. It will be the right job for me when I find it and it finds me.
Some may disagree with my decision – but that’s your choice. I made my choice. It’s freedom of belief.
The saying you work to live is true - you don't live to work. Money may be tight for me for a while, but budget and opt out of the £8.99 shampoo and the Top Shop top for £30 (when really it's a bit of thin cloth that the next girl in the changing room is trying on). It doesn’t have to be all about clothes, fashion, money and extravagance - it's about you. You is all about you. If you dream of riches and know you're all about that, that's your choice. Work hard and wear the cloth. If you believe in the happy you, appreciating what you have got, then that's what you're all about. We're all different. I just happen to choose my positive step, handing my notice in as I wasn’t happy and believing in me.
Wake up in the morning, thank for you have and believe in you. Life continues no matter how much you grumble or how many times you cry, I love me - time doesn't stop for no one. You have to make the best out of each situation simply because you have to. We sometimes don’t appreciate what we have or what we believe in. We get caught up in the every day life of life, but by taking a little step out just to self check, be grateful for what we have can be a daily or weekly gratitude magnet to attract goodness to you.
I have had email chats with the author Erin Quinn recently and she told me to picture the end - see you in the end result. I have and am concentrating on that happy vision. For sure, life's not perfect, ups and downs get in our way and it makes you the bigger person. But hop on the happy train, buy your ticket and see where life takes you. You never know what delight is round the corner. It is waiting for you, you just have to believe and hold on.
