I quickly checked my lottery numbers online last night and didn't recognise any of them actually being my lucky numbers. Then this morning I logged onto my emails to check again incase my eyes had scanned too quickly over the numbers. The lovely lottery people send you nice emails if you ever win lucky (a tenner before you ask).
So as I entered my email world with my fingers, legs, eyes, nose and ears crossed (making it a tad difficult to type my password) I saw nothing. Nada. Sweet f.a. Not a peep from Lottery HQ. No welcoming email saying, news about your ticket. Oh well back to work next week it is!
Welcome to Little Margaret. It started off on a quest in search of a Dachshund called Margaret...I've yet to meet her, life doesn't always go as planned. So in the meantime, I blah blah blog on things some of reason, interest or not, serious or daft. It's my space to type.

Chocolate
Joy to the weekend! Am so glad it's here! Even better, I am now on holiday for 5 days! Not jetting off anywhere hot, not packing everything I think possible may be worn on holiday, not over doing it in the sun (dream...a tan)....just staying at home! Yippee. I can't wait!
The holiday has started with a scrumptious mug of hot chocolate, lashings of syrup spread over a few toasted pancakes and a couple of warm scones dipped in chocolate spread. Slurrrrrp! Everyday should be like this....jammies on till noon, chocolate and pancakes.
It could be....if my lucky lottery numbers popped up tonight on the telly, all 6 in a row, shining brightly - you're a winnnnnnnnerrrrr....chhhhing chiing!
Happy weekend y'all and happy lottery if you play tonight!

C'mon the Stace!

As I am very much TEAM MINOGUE all the way, show your appreciation of Stacey Solomon - so lovely, so funny and blossoms each week, really championing herself...C'mon the Stace! I really hope she makes the final three. Then wins - yay!
Love this link....it's true what they say, we don't get enough of her!
Have a look - http://www.heatworld.com/Article/Channel/X-Factor/13019/Stacey-Soloman/Stacey-Soloman-is-utterly-bonkers-in-this-video!

Now with the final contenders, the contest really begins....
My biggest gripe of X Factor this year (apart from Cheryl's performance, c'mon it wasn't good) was Calvin Harris jumping on stage last week trying to make a mock of the show. He's the mock (correction, replace m with a c) - why did he think he had the right to do it? Boring! He then proceeded to slag off the likes of Leona and Alexandra who can sing, who are real talent compared to Mr Harris and his samey beats and bops. If the country didn't like them, their singles wouldn't sell, their albums wouldn't top the charts and people wouldn't watch the show. Bored of even writing about it. Weirdly tho, I do like Calvin Harris, but anyone could produce his kind of music with a keyboard and a beat stick. Just wait for Jedward - they'll be onto your sound Harris!
Ruby!
After the excitement of my last posting, I seemed to have been really busy doing nothing. Therefore, not written for a while. I suppose everyday life gets in the way of doing what you really want to do.
I was round for dinner at my good friend Ruby's at the weekend and noticed on her PC, she had my blog as one of her online favourites. She pointed out I hadn't blogged for a bit. More like nagged, only joking...! A golden rule in radio if you're on air, if you have nothing to say, don't say anything. Not every DJ pays attention to this and babbles on relentlessly for what seems like an hour...
I've not had much to say of late. But I am sure, I'll get back to the typing fast and furiously...don't want to keep Ruby waiting!

It nearly happened!!
Yes! It nearly did. My chum Nicky emailed me saying that there was an ad in the local paper for a Dachshund for sale, male smooth haired....immediately I checked the ad and called up.
But not for the reason you think, all this chat about Margaret and a little girl pup and I have changed my mind so quickly...no! I called up to chat to the breeder about the pups and when did she expect to have another litter.
The reason for this is that from I have heard she's the only Dachshund breeder in our neck of the woods. The lovely lady took my name and number and said she would call in the future with good news. I think she will as her daughter's called Jennifer too, you know that same name thing?!
However the lovely lady has a male, 2 year old red smooth haired dog for sale too. How could she do this to me! He's called Lucky. House trained and he nearly, nearly made his way to my heart. But I couldn't, I decided I didn't want to go against my dream of finding Margaret and starting from the beginning of puppy life with her and enjoying the adventures.
After the call, I called my partner telling him what I had done. I think he was relieved that I hadn't softened into agreeing to buy the dog! My partner wants a pup like me, but not until we have a house as at the mo, we're in a flat. It's his flat too, so I have to abide by house rules.
So, nearly, so close....but not yet. Soon!
Love a bit of excitment!
Oooh speaking of excitment, X Factor tonight!
C'mon TEAM MINOGUE!!
Have a fab weekend x
